Seems as that's how I started... just a few dollars :) which then became more than a few dollars.

Have you got any friends or loved ones that would be prepared to help you, maybe look after your credit/efpos cards until you are able to handle them?

Have you thought about seeking counselling to help you overcome the problem?

Have you had a chat with the people on the helpline? they may be able to give you some advice.

Hi After several weeks of being gambling free I went out tonight on a binge like never before. I have no money left and don;t get paid for ten days ... i have a family to support! How could i do this to myself and to the people i love i feel sick and I feel so much self loathing. Nothing anyone says can make this any better!

Hi.

First things first, can you get in contact with your local CAB who may be able to direct you to a foodbank?

Unfortunately, the money is gone, and although you are feeling pretty rotten, what's done cannot be undone. I know there were times when I wished I could undo the amounts I gambled.

If you want help, give the helpline a call, and post back here as often as you need to.

You'll find that a few of us on here have "been there, done that" - sometimes several times, so we know what it's like.

Hope you had a great day :)
